This months journaling challenge was to to write about 10 things you would like to change for 2011

2011 What do i really
want to change this year?

That is quite a hard question.

I know i am not perfect but i am really happy with the way my life is moving, i am happy and healthy and have a wonderful family who love and support me.

1) I would like to read more books, i love to read but finding the time to do so is hard.

2) Learn something new, i don’t mind what it is just something i don’t already know.

3) spend some more quality with the children, they are growing up so fast and i really don’t want to miss it

4) Have some more time to myself, the only time i ever spend on my own is probably in the bathroom, i would like to have a bit of time out just so i can do nothing in peace.

5) quit smoking, ok i know i wont stick to that so cutting down would be great.

6) and talking about cutting down, cutting down the amount of coffee i drink.

7) switch off the tv and listen to the radio more, i love music and really don’t listen to it enough

8) Stop shouting at the children so much, i think listening and talking might be the better approach.

9) spend less time lurking and more time talking, i always lurk around the forums and never join in, i must start talking more.

10) Spend less time of facebook, i might get more time to work if i stopped playing the games and checking out all the news

We have had broken arms, to beautiful sunny holidays. An extra brother to share and some amazing fun times.

From silly hats to wacky hairstyles you all have seemed to enjoy yourselves so much.

This year we have had the hottest summer and the coldest winter, sumer hats and thick winter suits to keep you warm.

we have had fun times, happy times and a few sad times but all of this has help you to keep strong.

Next year will dawn, some more things for us to experience but we will take it all in our stride and plod on as we always do. With the love we have for each other we can get through anything.

I have never tried a journalling page before so I jumped at this challenge, you had to create a page for Santa explaining if you had been naughty or nice.

I am writing this to you on behalf of my children Tj, Ben and J.J, I know they will all be on your naughty list because they are the most mis behaved children ever, they hardly ever sleep, they shout, fight and bicker all the time, they are rude to me and their father, the mess they leave everywhere is unbelievable.

But i do have this to say in their defense.They are the most loving children ever, they work very hard at school and always try their hardest. T.J helps as much and as often as he can, Ben has really tried had this year with his reading and is now on level 3 with 2 book s a week, compared to level 1 and 1 book that he was on at the beginning of the year.Finally JJ, well he is trying ( very trying )but he is trying so hard to speak and loves his brothers so much.

So this year it would be lovely for them to have some wonderful presents, all the mis behaving they do makes them unique and show they are only being
children.

We have had lots of trees and have never been totally satisfied, but this year we finally have the one i love. The tree has white snowy parts all over it and is already decorated with natural pine cones
and berries, on top of that we add our own red and gold ornaments, soldiers, beads rocking horses and doves. It looks the best at night when the lights are shining bright.

I loved this challenge, although I did find it hard to start with, we were given this prompt.

If I could go back in time, this is what I would tell you about your future... Journal directly to the subject of the photo as if you have gone back in time to share something with them about the future.

The journaling reads-

There are many things i would like to prepare you for, just after this photo was taken you were rushed down to the operating theatre where you weren’t expected to pull through, but after a long 7 days battle you were allowed home. You have had so many troubles through your five years of life but you are a very strong little boy and over come them with great ease.

You will be a fantastic big brother to JJ and a great little brother to Thomas. You have had many ups and downs and always come through them smiling.

You start nursery when you are 3 and have a great time and make some wonderful friends, and
at 4 you go to the same school as Thomas, you love the school and you love thomas being there
to look after you. You struggle to begin with with your reading but try and you will succeed.

Spend as much time as you can with Grand dad Tony he isn’t with us for long and you have always been his favorite and you love being with him.

Please promise me you will sleep the right way around in your bed, because falling out of it resulted in a broken arm.

I hope you have many more adventures and i really do hope you keep your cheery smile and the wonderful way you see the best in everyone.
